Climate Change is Making the Atmosphere Worse for Astronomy

I know, I know, climate change is having an impact across our lives, from increased wildfires to more extreme storms and a rising sea level. But astronomers are finding that climate change will also adversely impact our ability to do astronomer from the ground. The world's biggest telescopes are built in a specific temperature regime, and the operators fine-tune the telescope each night based on the expected temperatures. Still, as the microclimates change around the telescopes, they might fall outside of the expected tolerances and make the telescopes perform worse.
